چکیده

Abstract. Proper knowledge of velocity is required in accurately determining the enormous destructive energy carried by a landslide. We present first, simple and physics-based general analytical landslide model that simultaneously incorporates internal deformation (nonlinear advection) externally applied forces, consisting net driving force viscous resistant. From physical point view, represents novel class nonlinear advective–dissipative system, where classical Voellmy inviscid Burgers' equations are specifications this model. show advection external forcing fundamentally regulate state motion deformation, which substantially enhances our understanding coherently deforming Since solutions provide fastest, most cost-effective, best rigorous answer to problem, we construct several new exact solutions. These cover wider spectrum directly reduce mass motion. New bridge existing gap between negligibly geometrically massively landslides through their deformations. This provides novel, rapid, consistent method for efficient coupling different types transports. An adapted support vector machine for velocity field interpolation at the Baota landslide

The possibility of landslides will increase dramatically in the vicinity of the Yangtze river due to soil water changes caused by water level rise in the hinterland of the Three Gorges dam. One of these endangered areas can be found at Baota landslide. Several investigations have been carried out here by Chinese institutions: GPS-measurements, classical geodetic observation methods and geotechn...

Predicting the susceptibility of landslide occurrence in order to manage landslide risk in Bar Neyshabur watershed

Background and objective: Landslide susceptibility zoning using different methods is one of the landslide management strategies. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the landslides susceptibility in the Bar watershed in Khorasan Razavi province using the support vector machine (SVM) algorithm. Method: First, the landslide layer of the area was corrected through field visits and Google Earth...

Analysis the morphometric features of KabirKooh landslide

The KabirKooh landslide was studied as one of the immediate catastrophic events which causes falling rocks from the KabirKooh hillside and the obstruction of the Seymarreh river course and also formed a lot of geomorphological shapes in this area. This landslide was located at 5 km of the Poldokhtar city at the south between the Ilam and Lorestan province. The main purpose of this research to ...
